Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacob Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. Kıvanç Yücesan made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Jacob Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Moya in the 16th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hussein Bellido in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KaoS Futbol Club's Noel Hargrave. Jacob Albuquerque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, KaoS Futbol Club's Zeledon Tabb got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvinho Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Jacob Albuquerque scored 2-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kıvanç Yücesan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
