After having played for 6 minutes, Ömer Ali managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ömer Ali was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Amancio Semeno with Jacob Albuquerque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jacob Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fernán Moyano made a huge save. Pierluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Ali in the 23rd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Amancio Semeno with Jacob Albuquerque as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Pierluigi Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer Ali, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Ali in the 31st minute of play. Jacob Albuquerque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernán Moyano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The throw-in from Irmantas Tamošauskas in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KaoS Futbol Club's Amancio Semeno. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Ali stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Noe in the 53rd minute of play forced ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s goalkeeper Fernán Moyano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Noel Hargrave who took care of the corner kick. Pierluigi Buffon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ömer Ali showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s Emre Wölfle was substituted for Ömer Ali. After 66 played minutes ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Cienfuegos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emre Wölfle got free with Pierluigi Buffon in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
