The corner ended in Justino Elequemedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Golden Dragón F.C's Hilario Pesquera did a great save. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. Justino Elequemedo made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Dragón F.C's Fernandez Vizcarreto. Hilario Pesquera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The corner led Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo to fire away a dangerous shot which Hilario Pesquera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 23 played minutes Golden Dragón F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Vaabengaard. Justino Elequemedo made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emiliano Velasco however managed to control. Hilario Pesquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Kopacz in the 37th minute of play forced Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Despidida AFC's Pastor Tino got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Justino Elequemedo's late challenge caught a Golden Dragón F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Elequemedo helped the player get up and apologised. Justino Elequemedo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ceyhan Celvet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Dragón F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceyhan Celvet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Selatse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gasteiz Durazno kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceyhan Celvet made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceyhan Celvet came free, but Fernando Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Pesquera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Czeslaw Kopacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Pesquera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 63rd minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Golden Dragón F.C's Ceyhan Celvet made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Golden Dragón F.C were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Despidida AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dario Betzanos took the corner. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Golden Dragón F.C's goalkeeper Hilario Pesquera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Dave Skinner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Toro Martínez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Despidida AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Toro Martínez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Pesquera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camerino Luey in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
