After a defensive mix-up in DREAM TEAM WORLD's zone, Flavius Postelnicescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lu Zhen Sheng came out of the goal and Flavius Postelnicescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Andrzej Zapolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Peres. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrzej Zapolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Baggio. Lu Zhen Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jardel Baggio in the 16th minute. With a little luck, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng got control of the ball when Jardel Baggio tried to sneak it across the goal line. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zapolski came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Robert Arboleda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes DREAM TEAM WORLD got a freekick which was hit by Héctor Adomaitis. 41 minutes into the game, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Peres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 44th minute Cauan Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Baggio in the 51st minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the game, Andrzej Zapolski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilson Peres. Andrzej Zapolski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attentive Maximiliano Vime managed to snatch the ball when Robert Arboleda made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Loyola in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Jon got free with Nilson Peres in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Paulo Jon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nilson Peres. Nilson Peres yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4.
