The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fauna Utd booed when Svartvallstjärnens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Castelao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fauna Utd's Dante Huts quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Karl-Åke Vestlund, made in the 8th minute of the game. Edward Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Henrik Hägert in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fauna Utd's Dante Huts. After a defensive mix-up in Svartvallstjärnens IF's zone, Dante Huts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Jönsson came out of the goal and Dante Huts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edward Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Huts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Fauna Utd from getting a goal against them. Edward Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 15th minute of play. Edward Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Göran Cane took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Radamel Hendrickx to make any attempt to save it. Edward Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Portugal in the 26th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Unai Sócrates came free, but Edward Jönsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Jönsson came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates. But to his dismay, Unai Sócrates quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Villiam Marklund was substituted for Tore Svartström.

Edward Jönsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unai Sócrates's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Göran Cane made a precise shot to the right of Radamel Hendrickx. Fauna Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Svartvallstjärnens IF made a substitution. Elliott Malmberg replaced Villiam Marklund. After 63 played minutes Fauna Utd got a freekick which was hit by 董文鹰. Yuri Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the game, Svartvallstjärnens IF's Johannes Söderberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Radamel Hendrickx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Unai Sócrates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edward Jönsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Johannes Söderberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radamel Hendrickx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Portugal in the 79th minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Edward Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unai Sócrates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Maguire to maneuver through the defense. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edward Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 86th minute of play. The throw-in from Henrik Hägert in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fauna Utd's Dante Huts. Edward Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Sócrates, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Unai Sócrates in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edward Jönsson saved Svartvallstjärnens IF from getting behind. Many of Fauna Utd's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fauna Utd may have spent more time on the ball, but Svartvallstjärnens IF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
