After having played for 23 minutes, Göran Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kattvik kings's Casper Hultin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edward Jönsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Göran Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edward Jönsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Trittin in the 59th minute of play. Alvar Arvidsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Cane in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Svartvallstjärnens IF defense, Long Zhan Quan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Jönsson. The Svartvallstjärnens IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Jönsson should have stopped the shot. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Tore Svartström was substituted for Thiago Castelao. Alvar Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Göran Cane sent off a good shot on target. Svartvallstjärnens IF's attentive Gunnar Asplund managed to snatch the ball when Damian Dobrea made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Alvar Arvidsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Göran Cane's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Şenel Zeval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kattvik kings's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şenel Zeval in the 83rd minute. Jürgen Trittin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edward Jönsson having to make a save. In the 91st minute Jürgen Trittin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jürgen Trittin in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Jönsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Kattvik kings's zone, Göran Cane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Arvidsson came out of the goal and Göran Cane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
