Sandro Viking recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Elias Arnedo got control of the ball when Kenny Alströmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alejandro Gavilanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Viking in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jefferson Farfán's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Gavilanes was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Kenny Alströmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Ibarra Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ibarra Montenegro made a great header on Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's corner, it was just that Porteño Prowess FC's Alejandro Gavilanes managed to reach the ball for a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Porteño Prowess FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Porteño Prowess FC's Fiallos Mellado was substituted for Baltasar Innocenzio. Porteño Prowess FC's Dobromir Przybylo was substituted for Alberto Ocomardia. The crowd rose to their feet as Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Jefferson Farfán slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alejandro Gavilanes. When Rodrigo Fahl fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's protests and gave Rodrigo Fahl a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Porteño Prowess FC booed when Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Fahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Elias Arnedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenny Alströmer in the 92nd minute of play. 101 minutes into the match, Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Alströmer came free, but Elias Arnedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Alexsandro Gavilanes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Elias Arnedo did a great save. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
