Isaias Perojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufino Giron in the 4th minute of the match. Isaias Perojo was a little too slow when Rufino Giron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rufino Giron in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isaias Perojo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mora Liebana in the 14th minute of play forced Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Mauricio Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Mora Liebana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mora Liebana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Precioso having to make a save. Mauricio Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mora Liebana, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mora Liebana might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mora Liebana ran back to his position shaking his head. When Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DALO S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhon Costa in the 25th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Rufino Giron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauricio Precioso came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by DALO S.C.'s Mora Liebana. But to his dismay, Mora Liebana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mora Liebana might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mora Liebana ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mora Liebana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Perojo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rufino Giron. The supporters of Club Puerto Quito booed when DALO S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urritz Martiniana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Club Puerto Quito fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Club Puerto Quito's Santiago Huemen got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jhon Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Isaias Perojo made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Jhon Costa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaias Perojo. That made the score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. Rufino Giron in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isaias Perojo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ayoví Costoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Isaias Perojo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mora Liebana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. DALO S.C.'s Putte von der Putten quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moreta Besosa, made in the 51st minute of the game. The Club Puerto Quito fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Club Puerto Quito's Rufino Giron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isaias Perojo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ayoví Costoya's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufino Giron in the 57th minute of play. Mora Liebana might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Precioso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mora Liebana ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio Precioso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mora Liebana in the 59th minute. Diego Narbona hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Mora Liebana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Perojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufino Giron in the 66th minute of play. Club Puerto Quito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Narbona in the 67th minute. The corner ended in Diego Narbona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo did a great save. The throw-in from Rodríguez Celerain in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DALO S.C.'s Peter Aceituno. In the 72nd minute, Diego Narbona had to leave the field with a concussion. After 73 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Loco Alves. Putte von der Putten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mauricio Precioso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Mora Liebana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Giron in the 93rd minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Perojo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Precioso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mora Liebana in the 95th minute of the match. Club Puerto Quito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
