The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when Inter de Guayaquil FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Giertych didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes, DALO S.C.'s David Delgadillo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DALO S.C. reached it. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mora Liebana, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Jörn Svartengren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaias Perojo. DALO S.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jörn Svartengren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Jörn Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Loco Alves got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jörn Svartengren scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Perojo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Jörn Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Isaias Perojo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jörn Svartengren might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Perojo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörn Svartengren ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaias Perojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 22nd minute of the match. Isaias Perojo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörn Svartengren's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Jörn Svartengren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 39th minute, Mateusz Giertych hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Perojo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 52 minutes into the game, Emilio Vispieres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DALO S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter de Guayaquil FC the free kick. Emilio Vispieres kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Emilio Vispieres was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jörn Svartengren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de Guayaquil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Svartengren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Perojo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörn Svartengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Isaias Perojo made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Jörn Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Perojo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Mora Liebana got a free kick in the 64th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Éric Cantona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaias Perojo. Éric Cantona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. If Éric Cantona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Éric Cantona fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Isaias Perojo, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Mora Liebana got a free kick in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éric Cantona in the 93rd minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Isaias Perojo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The DALO S.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter de Guayaquil FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
