The audience thought a goal was coming when Glenn Houghton got free with Nikolay Bonkov in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerry Cheeseman struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Nizam Şafak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garlic Eaters. Nikolay Bonkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Perutxo in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's goal looked a bit too open when Fitz Lambley came free, but Nizam Şafak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezmi Taşkınay in the 21st minute of play. Nikolay Bonkov was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Celalettin Çalımbay. Nizam Şafak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Cheeseman in the 26th minute of play. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezmi Taşkınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Baykan Sönmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Fitz Lambley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nizam Şafak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvio Hotz during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fitz Lambley to strike the kick off in the second half. Nikolay Bonkov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezmi Taşkınay's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. But to his dismay, Juan-Ramón Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS made a substitution. Lütfi Erkılıç replaced He Tian Jian. Celalettin Çalımbay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Juan-Ramón Verón nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolay Bonkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garlic Eaters had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
