Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enzo Noce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Banas in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, The Nerd Herd's goal looked a bit too open when Stamen Tekeliev came free, but Enzo Noce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Roberto Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Stamen Tekeliev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Playa Malvín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Enzo Noce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stamen Tekeliev, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marian Banas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
