In the 15th minute Rodolfo Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Epifanio Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Sabin in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Emeterio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Evis. Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Emeterio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Epifanio Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Berbiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Rodolfo Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Evis made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Anselmo Tono sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to club atletico aldosivi getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luís Advíncula hit a great ball. If Rodolfo Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Saturnin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Jedrzej Koprowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Pirro in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Pirro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eustacio Sabin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the match, Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Tono came free, but Epifanio Evis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luís Advíncula fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored club atletico aldosivi's protests and gave Luís Advíncula a yellow card for diving instead. Gavino Abella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Evis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Eustacio Sabin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Epifanio Evis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
