Blas Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Jesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kip William got free with Federico Kalinowski in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute Bengt-Rune Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horia Anisie took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blas Aritza. Blas Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Felipe Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save ACF Fiorentina from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Intxixu came free, but Blas Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Hu Xi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Saturnin in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Federico Kalinowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Isaac Intxixu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Aritza was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, La Acade's Alejandro Vistruario got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Bengt-Rune Fastesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ACF Fiorentina fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when ACF Fiorentina's Bengt-Rune Fastesson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half ACF Fiorentina were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The throw-in from Ruperto Quilino in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by La Acade's Stelian Avram. Blas Aritza made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Isaac Intxixu sent off a good shot on target. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kip William in the 65th minute of play. With his leg Blas Aritza managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when ACF Fiorentina's Isaac Intxixu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute, Boris Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Anselmo Luar replaced Ariel Jesus. ACF Fiorentina's Hildeberto Carvalho was substituted for Bengt-Rune Fastesson. In the 70th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Gustavsson to maneuver through the defense. Blas Aritza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Cabezon in the 71st minute. La Acade made a substitution. Shao Zhou replaced Boris Gustavsson. Leonard Lamczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shao Zhou kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Horia Anisie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACF Fiorentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Anisie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Kalinowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Cortez's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Ciro Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Federico Kalinowski was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Ciro Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Federico Kalinowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ACF Fiorentina eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
