Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hermengildo Ursino kicked off to start the match. Hermengildo Ursino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Inocencio Felipo made a huge save. In the 15th minute Hermengildo Ursino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Henrico in the 16th minute of the match. Inocencio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afanasiy Mozolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Francesco came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico. But to his dismay, Luis Henrico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 24 minutes, Luis Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nouvelle Vague's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Henrico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Cibran Piedra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nouvelle Vague's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MDQ Raptors FC the free kick. Cibran Piedra hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Järvenperä in the 30th minute of play forced Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Inocencio Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Vito Genovese got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cosme Francesco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Nouvelle Vague's Inocencio Felipo got control of the ball when Afanasiy Mozolin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the MDQ Raptors FC defense, Anselmo Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Francesco. The MDQ Raptors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Francesco should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's Luis Henrico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ernesto Elodio fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MDQ Raptors FC's protests and gave Ernesto Elodio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Ernesto Elodio hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Luis Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Luis Henrico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Henrico made a kick off. After 53 minutes MDQ Raptors FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vito Genovese who took care of the corner kick. Nouvelle Vague's Vito Genovese was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cosme Francesco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When MDQ Raptors FC's Teofilo Adrio in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nouvelle Vague's goalie prevented a goal. In the 58th minute Teofilo Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afanasiy Mozolin struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Inocencio Felipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDQ Raptors FC. Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz was substituted for Luis Henrico. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimiro Ugutz got free with Cosme Francesco in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ursino in the 64th minute of play. Inocencio Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Järvenperä, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Casimiro Ugutz made a great header on Nouvelle Vague's corner, it was just that MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco managed to reach the ball for a save. If Hugo Villaverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, MDQ Raptors FC's Hermengildo Ursino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Felipo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Cosme Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Ugutz in the 90th minute of the match. MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save MDQ Raptors FC from getting a goal against them. Nouvelle Vague were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over MDQ Raptors FC's much stronger midfield.
