After taking down the ball on MDQ Raptors FC's corner Teofilo Adrio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Denis Urtats quite easily take care of the ball. After 20 played minutes Qiu Yuan Jun rounded MDQ Raptors FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Denis Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After some careless play in the Knight Of Dawn defense, Teofilo Adrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Urtats. The Knight Of Dawn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Urtats should have stopped the shot. Denis Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Järvenperä in the 32nd minute of play. Hortêncio Godoi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a little luck, MDQ Raptors FC's Cosme Francesco got control of the ball when Celedonio Fonda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Qiu Yuan Jun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Cosme Francesco made a huge save. In the 42nd match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Baresi to maneuver through the defense. Denis Urtats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Adrio in the 43rd minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Qiu Yuan Jun made a kick off.
