The supporters of Paraná Clube Brasil booed when Vista Alegre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Giovani Batista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronaldo de Moraes. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Vista Alegre FC's Luisinho Laguna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Biagio Furino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arlindo Silveira was the one to do the kick off. Luisinho Lagunas short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Biagio Furino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luisinho Laguna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Furino having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Laguna got free with Biagio Furino in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisinho Laguna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Biagio Furino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Laguna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
