Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geraldo Bezerra got the match started through his kick off. 冯雄翀 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 3rd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Coritiba City's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but 冯雄翀 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 16 minutes Coritiba City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vitor Beckenbauer who took care of the corner kick. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vitor Beckenbauer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 冯雄翀 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18thth minute of the game Deilmison van Basten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coritiba City's 冯雄翀 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Geraldo Bezerra came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 冯雄翀 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geraldo Bezerra. After 31 minutes of play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 冯雄翀 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Coritiba City's 冯雄翀 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 33rd minute of play. ATHLETICO PRaiano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vitor Beckenbauer in the 35th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Coritiba City's goalie and right to Denílson Magalhães. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Coritiba City's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Simão do Vale quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Caio Tavares, made in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 39th minute of play forced Coritiba City's goalkeeper 冯雄翀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 冯雄翀 came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 冯雄翀. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deilmison van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 44th minute of play forced Coritiba City's goalkeeper 冯雄翀 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deilmison van Basten to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Coritiba City's goalkeeper 冯雄翀 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Deilmison van Basten. After 54 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Vitor Beckenbauer. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 77 minutes Coritiba City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robin van Persie who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ATHLETICO PRaiano's Robin van Persie to fire away a dangerous shot which 冯雄翀 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Deilmison van Basten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, 冯雄翀 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Deilmison van Basten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 冯雄翀 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Denílson Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 played minutes Coritiba City got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Santos. In the 88th minute, Deilmison van Basten reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 冯雄翀. The goal made the score 0-5. After 91 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Gaétan Govou. Serginho Aguiar's late challenge caught a ATHLETICO PRaiano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Aguiar helped the player get up and apologised. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Denílson Magalhães with Deilmison van Basten as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The ATHLETICO PRaiano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ATHLETICO PRaiano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
