A collision led to FK Željezničar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Kaid Šuman hit a great ball. Kaid Šuman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Konstantin Pančur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Mandela in the 10th minute of play. Anis Doberšek hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Adi Jusufović came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Set Nenadić hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Šemsudin Kamber, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Konstantin Pančur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Mandela in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Kaid Šuman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantin Pančur was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by HIT Gorica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Šemsudin Kamber was slow to take the kick. During this time FK Željezničar's players had a chance to rest. Kaid Šuman was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Grigoris Koufakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roni Hafner in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaid Šuman in the 30th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK Željezničar's Grigoris Koufakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roni Hafner in the 34th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nelson Mandela to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Adi Jusufović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Željezničar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adi Jusufović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Kaid Šuman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur. Konstantin Pančur was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Adi Jusufović came free, but Konstantin Pančur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Mandela took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantin Pančur. Konstantin Pančur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 72 minutes into the match, FK Željezničar's goal looked a bit too open when Roni Hafner came free, but Grigoris Koufakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Adi Jusufović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantin Pančur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 79 minutes into the game, Adi Jusufović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Konstantin Pančur. Adi Jusufović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 82nd minute, Goražd Djordjević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the game, Anis Doberšek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HIT Gorica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Željezničar the free kick. Anis Doberšek kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Konstantin Pančur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Mandela in the 86th minute of the match. Konstantin Pančur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikola Bogdanović in the 87th minute. Vasilije Sedlak made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FK Željezničar's Šemsudin Kamber. FK Željezničar played a much better game than HIT Gorica and deserved their victory. The HIT Gorica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
