Jahija Selimotić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Stevan Stojanović made a huge save. Giannis Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buba Trubač in the 21st minute of play. Pat Rice could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Stevan Stojanović made a huge save. After a rather tough play, jumpitrumpi's Ivica Kragović got a free kick in the 45th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Buba Trubač to make the kick off. Giannis Konstantinou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Buba Trubač's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Buba Trubač in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giannis Konstantinou saved FK KLIS from getting behind. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 68th minute, but Giannis Konstantinou got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FK KLIS hanging dry this time. Pat Rice kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. FK KLIS's Fulvio Terenzi was substituted for Slawomir Polkoski. FK KLIS made a substitution.
