Vintilă Bădescu scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Escerza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Jurăscu came free, but Abelardo Escerza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidiu Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Jurado in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Jurado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mannuel Cofquecura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidiu Marin having to interfere. Ovidiu Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Pino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Camilo Pino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Lăzărescu to maneuver through the defense. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mannuel Cofquecura in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Octav Buta got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dacian Jurăscu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Lăceanu to maneuver through the defense. Simón Chavez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luchito Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Vintilă Bădescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cosula-BTF- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luchito Fuentes's late challenge caught a FC Cosula-BTF-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luchito Fuentes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Luchito Fuentes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vintilă Bădescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Zorros del Desierto booed when FC Cosula-BTF- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Bogătan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosula-BTF-'s zone, Simón Chavez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidiu Marin came out of the goal and Simón Chavez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 played minutes Zorros del Desierto got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Pino. FC Cosula-BTF-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
