The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the Howling Dawn U18 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Senna. 26 minutes into the game, Juan Bittor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Howling Dawn U18's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. Juan Bittor kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Umberto Dionísio hit a great ball. Arturo Cordeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Cordeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Luisinho Seco hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Bittor to make the kick off. When Juan Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Howling Dawn U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Bittor couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Castanheiro SC's Luisinho Seco got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 61 played minutes Howling Dawn U18 got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Dantae. In the 65th minute, Everardo Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Howling Dawn U18's Arturo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Alagoano came free, but Leon Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilson Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Pedrinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Bittor in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Fellipe da Silva. Erasmo Oskarbi struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Pedrinho Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howling Dawn U18. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nilson Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castanheiro SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nilson Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Roldan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Bittor in the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Juan Bittor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Guimarães. Castanheiro SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Bittor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
