Kaloyan Birazov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCFiratRom. After 4 played minutes FCFiratRom got a freekick which was hit by Vahap Ergenç. Zekai Hilal was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Naum Mentov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Naum Mentov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's goal looked a bit too open when Naum Mentov came free, but Zekai Hilal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Turan Çile kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Milen Kaydzhiev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Ali Nejat Maruf made a precise shot to the right of Kaloyan Birazov. Laziali's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ali Nejat Maruf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaloyan Birazov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FCFiratRom's zone, Naum Mentov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zekai Hilal came out of the goal and Naum Mentov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Laziali's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Behzat Yaslı came free, but Kaloyan Birazov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Nejat Maruf in the 36th minute of play forced Laziali's goalkeeper Kaloyan Birazov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Laziali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milen Kaydzhiev to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Ali Nejat Maruf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaloyan Birazov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Laziali booed when FCFiratRom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aşık Kutsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tzenko Donkovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekai Hilal having to interfere. FCFiratRom's Zekai Hilal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naum Mentov in the 63rd minute of play. Vahap Ergenç hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doncho Tzvetkov in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zekai Hilal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FCFiratRom getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fethi İdilkurt hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzenko Donkovski in the 72nd minute of play forced FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Zekai Hilal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaloyan Birazov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cevahir Zati. After a rather tough play, FCFiratRom's Ali Behzat Yaslı got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ali Nejat Maruf charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Nejat Maruf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, FCFiratRom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Nejat Maruf to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Tzenko Donkovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zekai Hilal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tzenko Donkovski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Naum Mentov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Zekai Hilal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Laziali players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
