Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ştefan Nisporeanu started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rolf Arvidsson threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ştefan Nisporeanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 6th minute, Patrik Ahlrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Malmberg hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Gigi Şchiopu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rolf Arvidsson but with some difficulty. In the 10th minute, Gabriel Chiriloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Cătălin Octavian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Ronnys Lärjungar's goalkeeper Rolf Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ştefan Nisporeanu. In the 30th minute Tommy Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Busuioceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Claudiu Busuioceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Beck in the 32nd minute of play. Robert Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Busuioceanu having to interfere. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Ronnys Lärjungar fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Ronnys Lärjungar's Tommy Beck looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the game, Ivan Stanciu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ronnys Lärjungar the free kick. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Ivan Stanciu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute Karl Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Busuioceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tommy Beck was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Jan-Erik Säf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolf Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Nisporeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ronnys Lärjungar made a substitution. Kjell-Arne Skott replaced Tommy Beck. If Kjell-Arne Skott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ronnys Lärjungar getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. George Esbjörnsson hit a great ball. Ronnys Lärjungar's Bertil Harlén was substituted for Arnold Sur. After a rather tough play, Ronnys Lärjungar's George Esbjörnsson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ştefan Nisporeanu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolf Arvidsson. Rolf Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Cristinel Andronescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrik Ahlrot kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Rolf Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Nisporeanu in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Marian Răducu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 76 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Ahlrot. Claudiu Busuioceanu made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jan-Erik Säf sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Claudiu Busuioceanu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85th minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Gigi Şchiopu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gigi Şchiopu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gigi Şchiopu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 86 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Şchiopu. Claudiu Busuioceanu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Karl Grep sent off a good shot on target. Claudiu Busuioceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Skott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes, Marian Răducu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- and the Ronnys Lärjungar players grew even worse after the yellow card.
