In the 2nd minute, Leonardo Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Júnior da Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jardel Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Augusto Novaes in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudu de Toledo saved Scarlet Speedster from getting behind. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Dudu de Toledo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jardel Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Guimarães, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when Scarlet Speedster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Wesley Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Gerber to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Scarlet Speedster booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by ITAFUT 4EVER's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristóvão Nascimento was slow to take the kick. During this time Scarlet Speedster's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Cristóvão Nascimento almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ITAFUT 4EVER's Jardel Fernandez did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's Jorginho Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jardel Fernandez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 40 minutes of play, ITAFUT 4EVER's José Augusto Novaes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dudu de Toledo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half ITAFUT 4EVER were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Mineiro to make the kick off. When Leonardo Pombal came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Scarlet Speedster fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Pombal couldn't finish the play. After having played for 56 minutes, Leonardo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 minutes, Jânio Guimarães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scarlet Speedster and the ITAFUT 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Scarlet Speedster got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Guimarães. José Augusto Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dudu de Toledo made a huge save. In the 69th minute, José Augusto Novaes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Scarlet Speedster's Jorginho Peres in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ITAFUT 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. Jardel Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Pombal in the 78th minute of play. After 83 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Mineiro. Orlando Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Cléber Palmeira hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jardel Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Bueno went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's José Augusto Novaes got a free kick in the 94th minute. Although Scarlet Speedster had been in control for most of the match, ITAFUT 4EVER still came away with the win.
