In the 12th minute, Sérgio Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Mats Jakobsson. Juoksengi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Valdemar Guerra made a precise shot to the right of Mats Jakobsson. Juoksengi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Guerra in the 37th minute of play. Egon Andberg hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kjell Persson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Costa having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Otávio Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar Guerra made a kick off. Claudinei Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Jakobsson having to interfere. With a little luck, Juoksengi's Mats Jakobsson got control of the ball when Valdemar Guerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Valdemar Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Augusto Tinoco during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Augusto Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, César Coelho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mats Jakobsson, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Jovens Democratas MZC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Juoksengi.
