The crowd rose to their feet as Jânio Guimarães kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marek Bartochowski. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Marek Bartochowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior da Fonseca in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Jakub Snaza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galja Kraków's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scarlet Speedster the free kick. After a rather tough play, Galja Kraków's Jakub Snaza got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Romário Ceresso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marek Bartochowski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dudu de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Juroszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konstanty Wojno in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dudu de Toledo saved Scarlet Speedster from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Sebastian Hodyl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dudu de Toledo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Konstanty Wojno struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dudu de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galja Kraków. Marek Bartochowski came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Scarlet Speedster's Jânio Guimarães. But to his dismay, Jânio Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 40 minutes into the game, Célio Nóbrega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scarlet Speedster's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galja Kraków the free kick. 41 minutes into the match, Galja Kraków's Szymon Adamus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jânio Guimarães stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Sebastian Hodyl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper Dudu de Toledo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Hodyl. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dudu de Toledo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Guimarães in the 80th minute of play forced Galja Kraków's goalkeeper Marek Bartochowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes Galja Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Cezary Dobrowski. In the 93rd minute of the match Cristóvão Nascimento sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marek Bartochowski skillfully saved the ball. Scarlet Speedster's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
