Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maicon de Amorim took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon de Amorim in the 5th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Camilo Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Formentera's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon de Amorim came free, but Camilo Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filomeno Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Zé Augusto Tinoco suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Simon Nikola's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Nikola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, Simon Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Camilo Mondragon came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Jovens Democratas MZC's Maicon de Amorim. But to his dismay, Maicon de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edvaldo Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Illan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The corner led Formentera's Filomeno Nicholas to fire away a dangerous shot which Edvaldo Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Lisandro Remicio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Edvaldo Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Júlio Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Júlio Guerra hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Servando to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Jovens Democratas MZC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Illan was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Camilo Mondragon made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Maicon de Amorim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Mondragon. Maicon de Amorim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Jovens Democratas MZC's Allan Baiano was substituted for Júlio Guerra. After 72 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Antunes. In the 78th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Otávio Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Camilo Mondragon. Camilo Mondragon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Branco got free with Camilo Mondragon in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Vela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. The referee gave Jovens Democratas MZC a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maicon de Amorim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Formentera's Camilo Mondragon. 0-4. Allan Baiano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Filomeno Nicholas notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Jovens Democratas MZC's Edvaldo Costa. Edvaldo Costa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
