Filipe Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Alcântara in the 3rd minute of play. When KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Aleksander Kalinowski in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS LEW Chorzów's goalie prevented a goal. Ignacy Zagrobelny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Vincent Van Gogh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Filipe Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Beninda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Cucao in the 17th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Ignacy Zagrobelny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Juliusz Kowalski to fire away a dangerous shot which Ignacy Zagrobelny despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ignacy Zagrobelny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panda Komando in the 20th minute of the match. Filipe Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Beninda in the 25th minute. Oséas Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséas Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oséas Romero hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ignacy Zagrobelny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Big Egø lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ. Vincent Van Gogh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ignacy Zagrobelny. 0-3. In the 40th minute of the match, Pedro Luís Alcântara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filipe Meireles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 40 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Marian Beninda. In the 41st minute Panda Komando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Zagrobelny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Emilio Dantel fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS LEW Chorzów's protests and gave Emilio Dantel a yellow card for diving instead. Emilio Dantel hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Juliusz Kowalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Zagrobelny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute Panda Komando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Zagrobelny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juliusz Kowalski in the 49th minute. A nice corner shot did that Aleksander Kalinowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ignacy Zagrobelny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Czeslaw Patora kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Filipe Meireles came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by KS LEW Chorzów's Pedro Luís Alcântara. But to his dismay, Pedro Luís Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some careless play in the KS LEW Chorzów defense, Paolo Cucao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacy Zagrobelny. The KS LEW Chorzów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacy Zagrobelny should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Panda Komando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Zagrobelny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Cucao did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Ignacy Zagrobelny 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Czeslaw Patora got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Panda Komando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacy Zagrobelny was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksander Kalinowski in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacy Zagrobelny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lech Frankowski made a great header on KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's corner, it was just that KS LEW Chorzów's Ignacy Zagrobelny managed to reach the ball for a save. 83 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Ignacy Zagrobelny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paolo Cucao. After a rather tough play, KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's Mariusz Urban got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 89 played minutes KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Kalinowski. Ignacy Zagrobelny made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Vincent Van Gogh sent off a good shot on target. KOLEJORZ POZNAŃ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
