Ulisses Sabóia started the match with the kick off. SALIMEN were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Risca Faca IMT's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saturnino Gartzea took the corner. After taking down the ball on SALIMEN's corner Saturnino Gartzea fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vitinho Sarmento quite easily take care of the ball. Vitinho Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Sabóia in the 13th minute of the match. Elói Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Silviano, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Jarbas Lopez charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Lopez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Gerazan in the 23rd minute of play. Nicolas Bittencourt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cláudio Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Ulisses Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitinho Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With an all-out effort, SALIMEN's Vitinho Sarmento threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ulisses Sabóia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 63 played minutes Risca Faca IMT got a freekick which was hit by Maunu Parkkonen. In the 72nd minute Orvar Gabrielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói Miranda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes, Iker Silviano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Risca Faca IMT and the SALIMEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Risca Faca IMT getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Iker Silviano hit a great ball. SALIMEN made a substitution. Ronaldão Novaes replaced Enéas Pereira. In the 73rd minute, Iker Silviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento got control of the ball when Rony Eger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Silviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Miranda having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Bittencourt came free, but Vitinho Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Bittencourt hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the match was over SALIMEN could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Risca Faca IMT throughout the match.
