Grêmio Bulls's Alfredo Dante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jefferson Oliveira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Grêmio Bulls were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Hartmann Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastião Tróia took the corner. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Bulls from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Romulo Lehen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Oliveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Hartmann Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Rossi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Hartmann Futebol Clube's zone, Sebastião Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jefferson Oliveira came out of the goal and Sebastião Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svante Magnusson made a kick off. Grêmio Bulls's Henrique Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faas Romário in the 53rd minute of play. Jefferson Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowen Doherty in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faas Romário in the 55th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Henrique Prata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Jefferson Oliveira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Hartmann Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Jefferson Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowen Doherty in the 73rd minute of the match.
