Silvério Pinheiro started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Hartmann Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Yang Jie Sen hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Svante Magnusson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea. Sergio Goicoechea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hartmann Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anselmo Rosado in the 9th minute. After taking down the ball on Hartmann Futebol Clube's corner Anselmo Rosado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Goicoechea quite easily take care of the ball. Sergio Goicoechea came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Hartmann Futebol Clube's Zeus Müller. But to his dismay, Zeus Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Luan Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jefferson Oliveira was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Wiktor Askelöf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Goicoechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Svante Magnusson sped through GRÊMIO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sergio Goicoechea. 26 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Cavalcante came free, but Sergio Goicoechea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faas Romário in the 27th minute of play. Sergio Goicoechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Askelöf, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Sergio Goicoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Magnusson in the 30th minute of play. Silvério Pinheiro in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jefferson Oliveira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 0-6 became the score in the 38th minute when Zeus Müller elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Sergio Goicoechea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svante Magnusson's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Sergio Goicoechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Svante Magnusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Goicoechea was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The GRÊMIO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hartmann Futebol Clube were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Magnusson was the one to do the kick off. Jefferson Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, Wiktor Askelöf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Goicoechea. Wiktor Askelöf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. 66 minutes into the match, GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Sergio Goicoechea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faas Romário. Sergio Goicoechea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Magnusson in the 70th minute of the match. Sergio Goicoechea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faas Romário in the 71st minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Mazza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jefferson Oliveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Cavalcante in the 79th minute of play. GRÊMIO's Sergio Goicoechea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save GRÊMIO from getting a goal against them. Jefferson Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luan Valle in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Carlos Alberto Cavalcante got a free kick in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Carlos Alberto Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Goicoechea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Hartmann Futebol Clube played a much better game than GRÊMIO and deserved their victory. The GRÊMIO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
