With a little luck, Juventudes Libertárias's Alisson Becker got control of the ball when Lucio Siekkötter tried to sneak it across the goal line. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Esen Sanal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Baiano in the 19th minute of play. Ricardinho de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alisson Becker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krisztián Véber in the 22nd minute. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Juventudes Libertárias the free kick. Esen Sanal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ademar Siqueira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juventudes Libertárias fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Juventudes Libertárias:s Alisson Becker showed great skill when he stopped Lei Feng Yan:s penalty. 76 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Siekkötter came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Renato Augusto threw the ball into play from the sideline.
