Compugraf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chico Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Chico Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Odoy Pradhana was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional's zone, Chico Freire stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odoy Pradhana came out of the goal and Chico Freire tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chico Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Internacional booed when Compugraf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Li Xun Yuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chico Freire in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odoy Pradhana saved Internacional from getting behind. In the 66th minute, Walter Tufan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compugraf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0.
