Telmo Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Baiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Saiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Nazario Serre stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseu Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho de Carvalho in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Fonseca in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Nazario Serre saved Papunhas EC from getting behind.
