The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arí Pereira took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Baiano. Eduardo Baiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 9th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Kock to maneuver through the defense. After 9 played minutes, Inter Gala's Cristóvão Ribeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dida Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter Gala reached it. In the 11th minute of the match, Arí Pereira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Baiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 14 minutes Inter Gala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Konstanty Kojder who took care of the corner kick. Régis Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, LauerArmy's Arí Pereira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eduardo Baiano. Eduardo Baiano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Murilo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Inter Gala from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Cabral. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Eduardo Baiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eduardo Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murilo Cabral in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Mendonça in the 42nd minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Baiano made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Murilo Cabral sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Mendonça in the 45th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Souto in the 47th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heinz Stalder was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Edgar Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Pereira in the 56th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Arí Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LauerArmy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Ribeiro in the 61st minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Cabral in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Konstanty Kojder, 64 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 65 minutes into the game, LauerArmy's Murilo Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Baiano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 69th minute of the match, Jorginho Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dida Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento got control of the ball when Edgar Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Murilo Cabral's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Arí Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes of play, LauerArmy's Arí Pereira made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Gala made a substitution. Dênis Cavalcante replaced Alfredão Brasil. LauerArmy's Gilvan Queirós was substituted for Frédson de Almeida. Dida Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heinz Stalder in the 80th minute of play. Murilo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eduardo Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Inter Gala made a substitution. Donato Capixaba replaced Karl-Magnus Biörkquist. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Pereira in the 84th minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Pereira in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Mendonça got free with Dida Nascimento in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Heinz Stalder came free, but Dida Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Cabral in the 92nd minute of the match. Heinz Stalder made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by LauerArmy's Gilvan Queirós. In the 96th minute, Arí Pereira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Baiano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. LauerArmy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
