Eliseu Fonseca started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Garro in the 4th minute of play forced Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but João Augusto Simões firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 8th minute Fritz Berghmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Berghmans came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Liang Wei, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Garro came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, BEST FABIO F.C.'s João Augusto Simões got control of the ball when Gabriel Bati tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute Décio Dionísio collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 35 minutes, Rene Sergi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BEST FABIO F.C. and the Saiko FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 37 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rene Sergi. When Gerald Guthrie fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BEST FABIO F.C.'s protests and gave Gerald Guthrie a yellow card for diving instead. Gerald Guthrie hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gerald Guthrie hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the game, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Jiang Liang Wei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Sabóia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 55 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goalkeeper Zé Sabóia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang Liang Wei. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Saiko FC booed when BEST FABIO F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilla Kağan Ergüvenç didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Augusto Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Ondino in the 63rd minute of play. Fritz Berghmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. BEST FABIO F.C. made a substitution. Joaquim de Queirós replaced Fritz Berghmans. Anaking Skywalker made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jiang Liang Wei. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Eliseu Fonseca sped through BEST FABIO F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Augusto Simões. Zé Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim de Queirós's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Rodrigo Garro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Garro came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Leonel Santana hit a great ball. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Queirós in the 91st minute of play. Joaquim de Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquim de Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 93rd minute. The BEST FABIO F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BEST FABIO F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
