After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Sérgio Novaes got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edgar Souto sped through FIEL F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leigh Smith. FIEL F.C.'s 白桦岚 got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 白桦岚 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leigh Smith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leigh Smith didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristóvão Ribeiro went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If 白桦岚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leigh Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Souto in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Edgar Souto made a precise shot to the right of Leigh Smith. FIEL F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Leigh Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Souto in the 42nd minute of the match. After 45 played minutes FIEL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeca da Fonseca. Leigh Smith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Luís Eduardo Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Rodrigues was the one to do the kick off. Leigh Smith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Rodrigues in the 53rd minute of the match. When Jaime Rodrigues got free in front of the goal in the 53rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leigh Smith was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 58 minutes Inter Gala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bernardo Machado who took care of the corner kick. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 白桦岚 in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Novaes to maneuver through the defense. Inter Gala made a substitution. Heinz Stalder replaced Jaime Rodrigues. A collision led to FIEL F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Baltazar Meirelles hit a great ball. Frederico da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Baiano having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Edgar Souto made a precise shot to the right of Leigh Smith. FIEL F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Inter Gala left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FIEL F.C..
