Fabrício Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Souto in the 3rd minute of the match. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Eger in the 5th minute of play. Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Souto in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Inter Gala got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Fontes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renaud Verdonckt got free with Eduardo Baiano in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilmar Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Renaud Verdonckt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reinaldo Damião hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Jaime Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Inter Gala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Rodrigues in the 17th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Edgar Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Gala and the Inter de Munique players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgar Souto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Inter Gala's Edgar Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Baiano came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Munique's Renaud Verdonckt. But to his dismay, Renaud Verdonckt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Inter Gala:s Eduardo Baiano showed great skill when he stopped Oswaldo Lucas:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Barros in the 31st minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jaime Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilmar Eger in the 36th minute of the match. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Biörkquist hit a great ball. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andoni Donadoni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Donato Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes, Inter de Munique's Eusébio Barros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter de Munique reached it. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Barros in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Inter Gala's Cristóvão Ribeiro got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heinz Stalder to maneuver through the defense. When Inter de Munique's Andoni Donadoni, in the 94th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Munique. For all the effort they put into the match, the Inter Gala players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Inter de Munique.
