Arí Pereira took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yuri Loureiro. Yuri Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Aparecido came free, but Dida Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, LauerArmy's William Kock got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Alfredinho Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murilo Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Didier Drogba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Loureiro. Atlético Minuano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didier Drogba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Cabral came free, but Yuri Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuri Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Pereira in the 36th minute of play. Dida Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Romero in the 38th minute. Nicolas Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dida Nascimento made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Arí Pereira got free with Yuri Loureiro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 57 minutes, Murilo Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LauerArmy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Murilo Cabral came free, but Yuri Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Pereira in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Loureiro saved Atlético Minuano from getting behind. Dida Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredinho Aparecido in the 67th minute of the match. Yuri Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arí Pereira in the 68th minute. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Atlético Minuano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Marcel Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 played minutes, LauerArmy's Konstanty Kojder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LauerArmy reached it. 필 용 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. LauerArmy's Dráuzio Trancoso was substituted for João Pedro Marquez. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Minuano! Dida Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Piglowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Ortiz in the 87th minute of play forced LauerArmy's goalkeeper Dida Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Cabral in the 88th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Yuri Loureiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murilo Cabral. LauerArmy's Percival de Souza was substituted for Arí Pereira. In the 93rd minute, Dráuzio Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
