Fernandão Recife made a great header on Montevideo's corner, it was just that BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ata Necmi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 13th minute, Montevideo's Fernandão Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. When Benê Severo fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's protests and gave Benê Severo a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 20 minutes, Laerte Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montevideo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laerte Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st match minute, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldo Medeiros came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Adrianinho Capixaba. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Tinoco in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Vides in the 29th minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ata Necmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray McJon in the 31st minute of play. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ata Necmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER from getting a goal against them. After having played for 37 minutes, Laerte Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laerte Lucas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. Laerte Lucas struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ata Necmi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevideo. 55 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Acácio Tinoco. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Ata Necmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray McJon in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Váldson Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER defense, Laerte Lucas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ata Necmi. The BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ata Necmi should have stopped the shot. Ata Necmi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laerte Lucas's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Bray McJon put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ata Necmi. Ronaldo Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Váldson Vides in the 72nd minute of play. Ronaldo Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Váldson Vides got free with Ronaldo Medeiros in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Laerte Lucas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ata Necmi was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Ronaldo Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Váldson Vides sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandão Recife in the 85th minute of play forced BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's goalkeeper Ata Necmi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Vides came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match, Váldson Vides tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 90th minute Adrianinho Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Laerte Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
