The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Iigo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Leo Iigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Paulista in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to CE LAJEADENSE RS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Emil Fărcășan hit a great ball. Azmi Enver scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavinho Reis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Azmi Enver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Unai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leo Iigo in the 23rd minute. Flavinho Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Paulista in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, BURITIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuo Chao Chuan came free, but Gustavo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Gil Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavinho Reis. CE LAJEADENSE RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gil Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 46 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Enver. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Bater Palma made the kick off in the second half. Caetano Saad's late challenge caught a BURITIS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Flavinho Reis was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Gil Paulista capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gil Paulista really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 63 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Flavinho Reis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gil Paulista. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Emil Fărcășan got a free kick in the 66th minute. BURITIS FC's Narciso Costa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CE LAJEADENSE RS. Gustavo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bater Palma in the 74th minute of play. Leo Iigo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Unai. BURITIS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Flavinho Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Paulista in the 86th minute of play. Caetano Saad kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Flavinho Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gil Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match, Azmi Enver got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavinho Reis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 95th play minute Gil Paulista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Flavinho Reis. 0-7.
