Dany-Adams De Scheper scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eguen Armesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Internazionale-RS's Rogelio Lynch in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 15th minute Alan Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguen Armesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Internazionale-RS's Alan Tavares made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eguen Armesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stefan Neubrandt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Cruzeiro RS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Oséas Tasso hit a great ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Rogelio Lynch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro RS's Eguen Armesto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 37 in the game by Fred de Barros from a close distance when the talented Stefan Neubrandt managed to make a qualified save. Internazionale-RS's players were relieved. Carlos Alberto Trigo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cruzeiro RS's goalkeeper Eguen Armesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Pombal came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Lynch to make the kick off. Eguen Armesto made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Alan Tavares sent off a good shot on target. Rogelio Lynch's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Eguen Armesto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 59 minutes into the game, Rogelio Lynch lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Eguen Armesto. Eguen Armesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Internazionale-RS booed when Cruzeiro RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball.
