After 14 played minutes BURITIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Lara. 20 minutes into the match, Gil Paulista dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nilson do Vale, 1-0. Nilson do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gil Paulista in the 23rd minute. If Henry Tormes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Urbano. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nilson do Vale, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bandelocos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Narciso Costa was slow to take the kick. During this time BURITIS FC's players had a chance to rest. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Azmi Enver took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson do Vale. Nilson do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gustavo Unai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Sobis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
