Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zé Paulo Pombal took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Bandelocos getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Henry Tormes hit a great ball. Eguen Armesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Bandelocos's goalkeeper Nilson do Vale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Lucas. Nilson do Vale made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Zé Paulo Pombal sent off a good shot on target. Eguen Armesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Sobis in the 19th minute of play. Zé Paulo Pombal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Nilson do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 22nd minute Rafael Sobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguen Armesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Bandelocos got a corner. Cruzeiro RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Gustavo Urbano ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Luís Gustavo Urbano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cruzeiro RS's Eguen Armesto did a great save. Cruzeiro RS's Eguen Armesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Sobis in the 28th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Cruzeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Ribeiro. In the 33rd match minute, Cruzeiro RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Paulo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute Rafael Sobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguen Armesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Rafael Sobis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eguen Armesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Bandelocos's Rafael Sobis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eguen Armesto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Cruzeiro RS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bandelocos were winning 0-1.

If Sílvio Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute of the match Cruzeiro RS got a corner. Bandelocos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo Pombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Zé Paulo Pombal sped through Bandelocos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilson do Vale. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro RS's Zé Paulo Pombal got a free kick in the 69th minute. Nilson do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Paulo Pombal's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Pombal in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eguen Armesto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Tormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sílvio Lucas charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Lucas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
