An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Gonçalves in the 12th minute of play forced Municipales FC's goalkeeper Pipis Culot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulinho Gonçalves in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pipis Culot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute of the match, Eustacio Firmo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arif Nihat Yıldıray saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Municipales FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Andres D'Alessandro hit a great ball. Estación Q.'s Arif Nihat Yıldıray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Estación Q. from getting a goal against them. Paulinho Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pipis Culot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulinho Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Municipales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Gonçalves came free, but Pipis Culot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Municipales FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dries De Hondt in the 31st minute. The corner led Municipales FC's Dries De Hondt to fire away a dangerous shot which Arif Nihat Yıldıray despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paulinho Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Pipis Culot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estación Q.. Arif Nihat Yıldıray made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dries De Hondt in the 39th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Estación Q.'s Tadeo Lesardo was substituted for Paulinho Gonçalves. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeo Lesardo to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Estación Q. booed when Municipales FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Törnkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estación Q.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dries De Hondt ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eustacio Firmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Nihat Yıldıray having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Tadeo Lesardo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pipis Culot. Estación Q.'s Ferenc Puskás was substituted for Tadeo Lesardo. Marko Törnkvist made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dries De Hondt immediately put the ball in play. 83 minutes into the game, Estación Q.'s Modesto Jaunzuria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pipis Culot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 86th match minute, Municipales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Intxixu to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Estación Q.'s Pipis Culot threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurelio Mincho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 90 minutes into the match, Ferenc Puskás dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pipis Culot, 0-4.
