Terri Moco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Durval Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. A.A. Cachila's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonas Orlo in the 5th minute. The corner led A.A. Cachila's Jonas Orlo to fire away a dangerous shot which Durval Marinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Correia in the 9th minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Gustavo Hartz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.A. Cachila's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Cangeopol was slow to take the kick. During this time Relyn Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. Raimundo Faria was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 17th match minute, Relyn Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséias Correia to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Felipe Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Felipe Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Hartz was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After having played for 33 minutes, Felipe Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Orlo got free with Durval Marinho in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A.A. Cachila's Terri Moco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Durval Marinho in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 39 minutes into the game, Felipe Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gustavo Hartz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Ademar Meirelles with Felipe Santos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 46 minutes into the match, A.A. Cachila's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Santos came free, but Gustavo Hartz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terri Moco to strike the kick off in the second half. Terri Moco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Durval Marinho having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Relyn Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Terri Moco came free, but Durval Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Terri Moco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A. Cachila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Felipe Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustavo Hartz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Santos went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Seymour Skinner hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A.A. Cachila's Paulino Estevez got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a little luck, A.A. Cachila's Gustavo Hartz got control of the ball when Felipe Santos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felipe Santos scored 1-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Hartz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gustavo Hartz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Faria in the 84th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Raimundo Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Hartz. A.A. Cachila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Rodrigo Astudillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Durval Marinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Astudillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Relyn Futebol Clube's Durval Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Astudillo in the 91st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Santos got free with Gustavo Hartz in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Faria got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Hartz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match was over Relyn Futebol Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than A.A. Cachila throughout the match.
