A sloppy throw-in by Eliézer Alvarenga in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Plumerillo's Tanek Poreda. 9 minutes into the game, Olivier Gilg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Abel Matro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Ellande came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Jacobo Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivier Gilg in the 19th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Song Xiong Hong struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Abel Matro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DIPLOMATA FC PAB. Song Xiong Hong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Matro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Augusto Lara got free with Abel Matro in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Betinho Moreno seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Betinho Moreno the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of DIPLOMATA FC PAB protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Betinho Moreno had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of DIPLOMATA FC PAB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plumerillo:s goal. With a little luck, Plumerillo's Abel Matro got control of the ball when Song Xiong Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Plumerillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Plumerillo's Jacobo Gonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Donato narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacobo Gonzo was the one to do the kick off. Chico Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Deunoro in the 53rd minute. Abel Matro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. DIPLOMATA FC PAB were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Plumerillo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Song Xiong Hong took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Song Xiong Hong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abel Matro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnulfo Dolfos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Deunoro got free with Chico Donato in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chico Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes in the game Maximino Ellande did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ignacio Fernández. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Furtado in the 77th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Abel Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plumerillo's Abel Matro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Furtado in the 94th minute of play. Abel Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Furtado in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Plumerillo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
