Günalp Taştan came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Fireball Esporte Clube's Gilberto Pereira. But to his dismay, Gilberto Pereira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Túlio Barbosa hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ilie Grecescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bert Greenan in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Rogério Koehler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fireball Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bitelon FC - SAF the free kick. Dimitris Papaggelatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ilie Grecescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durval Recife could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ilie Grecescu made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Fireball Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when 叶凌宁 came free, but Ilie Grecescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The coaching staff of Fireball Esporte Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogério Koehler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 26th minute, Rogério Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Dimitris Papaggelatos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ilie Grecescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Dimitris Papaggelatos put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ilie Grecescu. After a rather tough play, Bitelon FC - SAF's Juarês Guerra got a free kick in the 67th minute. The supporters of Fireball Esporte Clube booed when Bitelon FC - SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Günalp Taştan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Pereira, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute.
