The Mansfield Town FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Mansfield Town FC's Tor Olofsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 16th minute Tobias Bern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Biörkquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luigi Elin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Biörkquist having to interfere. Maximilian Seger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Biörkquist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Mansfield Town FC's Andreas Sandell in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Bloodthirsty FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Håkan Viklund hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes Bloodthirsty FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Nordin. The Bloodthirsty FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mansfield Town FC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vincent Fredriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tor Olofsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mansfield Town FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Olofsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenneth Biörkquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kenneth Biörkquist made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Andreas Sandell sent off a good shot on target. Mansfield Town FC were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Bloodthirsty FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Nilsson took the corner. Sverker Collin replaced Edvin Kullander. In the 87th minute, Mansfield Town FC's Michael Gudmundsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Marcus Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the game, Michael Gudmundsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Kenneth Biörkquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mansfield Town FC played a much better game than Bloodthirsty FC and deserved their victory. The Bloodthirsty FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
