It was 0-1, 16 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Villa Verde FC's attentive Erivaldo Borges managed to snatch the ball when Caetano Pique made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Renan Melo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saul Goodman's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Feng Chao Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Boström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Renan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Goodman in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Goodman in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renan Melo saved A.A. Francana from getting behind. Saul Goodman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Renan Melo came out and tried to block the shot, but Saul Goodman slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Villa Verde FC's Saul Goodman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Goodman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Saul Goodman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Melo.
